Lost Creek is thrilled to be able to coordinate another tour of the Red Slough Wildlife Management Area guided by the incredibly knowledgeable David Arbor with the Oklahoma Dept of Wildlife Conservation!
Several years ago on a very windy, cold February day, David provided a group of us with an in-depth expedition through the Slough and I can’t wait to visit again on a much warmer spring day.
Mark your calendars for Monday, April 27. If you haven’t been to the Slough, I have provided a link below where you can familiarize yourself with the area. David has indicated these dates should be especially good for the spring birding migration.
. Let us know if you are able to join us and we will add you to our email list to notify you of details as we get closer to the date. Based on the last tour, we typically consolidate into as few vehicles as possible and drive to various locations within the Slough so if limited mobility is an issue, you should still be able to enjoy this outing!
