Kiwanis Back to School Bash

The Mineola Kiwanis is having their annual Back to School Bash to minister to underprivileged children on Saturday, August 17 at the Methodist Ministry Center 8:30 – 12 pm. Needy students entering pre-kindergarten through fifth grade will be able to get backpacks filled with school supplies, eye exams, dental exams, nurse exams, and haircut coupons. A hot dog lunch will be provided, and there will be exhibits from area merchants.

The Mineola Kiwanis Club meets Tuesdays from noon to 1 PM at the Mineola Civic Center. All are invited, but you are asked to call Johnny Johnson in advance at 903-569-2755.
