Toward the end of last week, all the weather gurus said we had a small chance of snow on Christmas. You probably thought the same thing I did, “Yeah… right!”
Late yesterday the forecast was revised because the front was supposed to dip further south than originally predicted. And dip south it did. We had a beautiful Christmas afternoon of snow in Mineola. It appears to be between 2 and 3 inches in accumulation from the areas we saw when we were out filming the video. Power outages have been reported in some areas.
Hopefully the outages and a few downed trees will be the worst of it and this will go down in history as a memorable White Christmas in Mineola.
