Mineola School Registration, Supply Lists (UPDATE)

Mineola Texas mascotAll students who will attend Mineola Primary School and Mineola Elementary School for the 2013-2014 school year are asked to register before the first day of school. This includes returning students and children new to the district. Children new to the district may register at the campus office during the month of August. Returning students may register at Meet the Teacher Night on their campus. Parents may complete forms, let their kids meet their new teacher, and bring their school supplies. Call the elementary school (903-569-2466) or the primary school (903-569-5488) with any questions.

Sixth grade – August 12 8:00-2:00

*NOTE: There will be a $5 charge for all 6th grade students for a P.E. uniform. Please pay when you register your student.

Seventh grade – August 13 8:00-2:00

Eighth grade – August 14 8:00-2:00

Seniors – August 12 11:00-7:00

Juniors – August 13 11:00-7:00

Sophomores – August 14 11:00-7:00

Freshman – August 15 11:00-7:00

New Students – August 16 8:00-3:00

For registration, high school students must bring a parent or they will not be allowed to register. The school will be distributing iPads and there is a brief parent/student training, forms to complete, and a $30 fee that must be paid. Students and parents should plan to spend at least one hour at the school for registration.

    What about headstart??? Same as primary???

      Head Start supplies everything necessary for the students. The only thing you’ll need is a backpack large enough to hold a folder. The Head Start Parent Meeting on Tuesday, August 20 will cover an overview of the program, as well as school policies concerning Head Start students. It will be at 5:00 pm in the Primary School cafeteria.
